Since we were coming down to Texas for the total eclipse, we knew there were some places we wanted to visit. Houston wasn’t one of them (ha ha!), but alas we found ourselves there anyway thanks to the annual Art Car Parade. Unfortunately it was looong drive from Waco where our home was parked AND the parade organizer’s overlooked offering more than ONE food purveyor at the starting line so said food purveyor had an hour plus long line (not kidding) so we spent said parade starving, but thanks to the amazing artists who came to Texas from near and far to show off their works off art, it was definitely worth it.
